Vacation Home Services
As an out of town second home owner, do you worry about your vacation home? Imagine having one telephone number for everything regarding the use of your home in our area. Our Vacation Home Services may be just right for you.
We began this service when one of our real estate clients said he was uncomfortable leaving his vacation home unattended for weeks at a time, sometime months at a time. He asked if we would go by and check on it a couple of times a month. We agreed and began offering the service to others. We are finding this peace-of-mind service to be something that a lot of second-home owners in our area want.
In addition to visiting the home about twice a month, we do other things like meeting contractors for repairs, helping a guest who is locked out, replacing filters, making seasonal adjustments to the thermostat, and reporting on the condition of the property after foul weather or a security alarm. Basically, whatever gives the home owner peace of mind is what we do. One thing we do NOT do is deal with tenants or rental situations. If your home is on a rental program, your property manager should be monitoring your property and our services should not be needed.
We also offer a cleaning service that will do a surface cleaning before you or your guests arrive and a full cleaning after departure. This includes washing bath towels, kitchen towels and bed linens.
Also, our additional services include seasonal or special occasion decorations in the home, stocking your home with food, beverages, and supplies for your visit, and preparing gift baskets or flowers. Our list of services is always growing, so if you have other things that would make your visit less stressful or more enjoyable, just give us a call. We can tailor our services to your needs.
